The CHANGE Funding Pool is an initiative to support the networking endeavours of early-career researchers at the Vetsuisse Faculty of Bern. It has been established to foster their development and career advancement through networking.
Purpose
The CHANGE Funding Pool supports networking activities by and for early-career researchers. Various activities such as joint excursions, site visits, talks by external experts, poster days, joint training sessions, and more are eligible for support. The goal is to promote extensive networking within the faculty and across departments, thereby strengthening individual and collective development.
Funding amount
A total of 7500 CHF is available annually, with individual projects eligible for funding of up to 2500 CHF. There is no minimum amount, and applications are considered in the order of submission, provided they meet the criteria.
Target audience
The CHANGE Funding Pool is open to all doctoral candidates, PhD students, and postdoctoral researchers at the Vetsuisse Faculty of Bern. Applications can be submitted via email to the Faculty's Equal Opportunities Coordinator, Nora Gassner. Selection is made by the Commission for Young Academics and Equality (KANG) based on clearly defined criteria and the majority principle.
