QAD research

To ensure the sustainable quality assurance and development in research, processes and measures are anchored in the QSE guidelines. The primary components of QSE research include annual internal research evaluations of all units and periodic external research evaluations conducted approximately every seven years.

The units’ annual self-evaluations use quantitative key figures to analyze trends over time and thus enable continuous quality assurance. The external research evaluations serve as a targeted analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the faculty’s research performance, including international comparisons, as a basis for strategic decisions facilitating a sustainable development of the faculty’s research performance. External evaluations are conducted by international expert panels. The next external research evaluation is scheduled for 2025/2026.
